GEORGE KHATI (23 MAY 1958 – 17 JANUARY 2025)
The Board of the SAOPF were deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the death of one of our colleagues, Mr. George Khati who sadly passed away on the 17th of January 2025 after a short sickbed.
Mr. Khati served on the SAOPF Executive as Secretary from 2024 until the time of his death. He was also the chairperson of the Northern Cape Older Persons Forum and instrumental in advancing the rights and interests of older persons in that province.
The Board, staff and members of the SAOPF extend heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.
